Google is supporting the free flow of cross border data in India as the country wants to bring data localisation in its data framework policy. Free flow of data globally will help the country to grow and march closer towards digital India vision that the country holds.
The recent report stated that every data fiduciary should have one copy of the local data served in the server and the data should be categorized as private as well. The cross border migration of data across user is also a strict measure that needs to be taken care of.
Meanwhile, the government also awaits the feedback on the data protection bill from the public.
